1st Day: Casablanca Airport – Casablanca Hotel

Upon your arrival at Casablanca Airport, Our staff will be picking you up and drive towards your Hotelto check in and relax.

 

2nd Day: Casablanca – Hassan 2 Mosque – Rabat – Chefchaouen

Pick up from your Hotel around 9:00 AM and transfer to Hassan 2nd Mosque where you join a 45 mins walking guided tour, followed by an optional pause at Ricks Café, later on you travel to Morocco Capital Rabat visit the city’s major attractions: Hassan tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed V & his son Hassan ll -former king and father of the current King. The 12th Century Kasbah Udayah: a departuring point for armies leaving to conquest Spain, in the 18th century, a gathering of pirates who used to capture ships, In the afternoon we continue driving towards Chefchaouen through Knitra city and the riff mountains in the north, Enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains till we get to blue town which is one of the stunning villages in the feet of riff mountains, Chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants and cafes where you will spend you night in a nice place to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of the nature.

 

3rd Day: Chefchaouen – Day trip to Akchour Waterfall

After breakfast, You will be picked up and drive towards the stunning Cascades of Akchour, An incredible paradise hidden in Riff Mountains which is 45 minutes away from Chefchaouen and where you will start your adventure of hiking for like 2 hours. Lunch will be in the middle of the cascades before you start your advenute back in the afternoon but this time you take a different path which passes by the famous and beautiful Bridge of God. Arrive to your vehicle and drive back to Chefchaouen for the 2nd night.

 

4th Day: Chefchaouen – Volubulis & Meknes – Fes

After your breakfast in the riad, our journey will start towards Volubilis via Riff Mounatins and other rif villages. Volubilis embodies the roman ruins and presents a unique archaeological site of Moroccan history, after the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes city, an imperial city in the 17th century, where we will hang around the historical huge walls of the medina, bab el mansour. Then we continue to Fes after lunch. Check in your Hotel in Fes on BB.

 

5th Day: Fes Medina City Tour – Fes

A cultural tour is waiting you through the intellectual capital of Fez which was considered Mecca of the west and Athena of Africa.It is the biggest city of the country after Casablanca with a population of approximately 1 million.This city is a the former capital and one of the country’s four imperial cities. Fez comprises three distinct parts, Fez el Bali which is the oldest part surrounded by a big wall, where are more than 9000 narrow streets and allies. Fez-Jdid or the new Fes, home of the Mellah the Jewish quarter and the Ville Nouvelle the newest section of Fez created during the French occupation.

Fez el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its medina is the largest in the world. Among its narrow streets and allies, the oldest university in the world is located; The University of Al-Karaouine, founded in AD 859. This University is still operating nowadays.

 

6th Day: Fes – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Sahara Desert

Today you drive south towards Merzouga, pause at Ifrane, some name it Morocco Switzerland, no wonder the town hosts Morocco elite university- continue through the only remaining Cedar forest in north Africa, also pause for having a while of a time with Barbary apes. Have stops for taking pictures in a splendid panoramic view, further south driving through Ziz valley Gorges and palm groves of Tafilalet big oasis, arrive to Erfoud, home of fossils, optional pause at one of the fossils factories, later on you continue to Merzouga and check in your Hotel on HB

 

7th Day: Sahara Desert Exploration Day trip

Learn more about Merzouga Sahara Desert and the breathtaking Erg Chebbi sand dunes, home to several international movies such as the recent Sex and City 2, the Mummy. Also attend an African folkloric music/ dance performance in Khamlia village, (visit the Sarji lake if it has water), later that afternoon you mount the camels for what s considered by many travellers the highlight of their trip attend, the sunset-Overnight in your desert camp, with en-suite bathroom

8th Day: Sahara Desert – Rissani -Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After Breakfast, you departure the desert via the ancient desert town of Rissani heading to the dramatic Toudra Gorges via Tinjdad and Tinghir Town, a walk at Todra Gorges along the river, but before we pause to relish the panoramic views of the old mud berber villages overlooking the valley. Lunch will be in a restaurant under 600feet high red cliff of the gorges where many of rock climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Later you continue to the gorgeous Gorges of Dades, Check in your Hotel on HB.

 

9th Day: Dades Valley – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Marrakesh

Start your day with the scenic Dades Gorges, through the Rose town of Kalaa Magouna and the Skoura palm gloves- continuing to Ouarzazate, the city is described as Moroccos Hollywood, later you head to the photogenic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a rest point for caravans in the past, and scene for many international movies, such as Lawrence of Arabia, sheltering Sky, Gladiator, afterwards you penetrate the majestic High Atlas Mt at an elevation of over 7000 ft- enjoying one of the most scenic drives in the country-

Check into your Riad located with 10 min walk from the vibrant Square.

 

10th Day: Marrakesh Medina City tour – Marrakesh

City tour of Marrakech with a local guide, the tour features several notorious monuments, including the mind relaxing Les jardin Majorelle, the Koutoubia Minaret (identical to the la Giralda tower in Sevilla, Spain), and the Saadian tombs, which represent Moorish architecture at its finest, The tombs, which include several sixteenth century mausoleums, lay undiscovered behind walls until 1917, this tour also will include a walk in the alley of the different part of the Souk-Market-.and the famous square Djama El fna.

 

11th Day: Marrakesh – Essaouira

After breakfast at your riad or hotel, We head to Essaouira, one of the attractive cities in Morocco about 167Km from Marrakech, Enjoying natural views in the way to this beautiful city on the atlantic. You have the opportunity to visit an Argan Cooperative on the way as the the region is known for argan oil. See how women in the Cooperative work hardly and with enthusiasm to get the oil from the Aran nuts to make cosmetics or delicious oil for food. You will discover an operation that requires some time and efforts from the women involved.We will Visit the sea-side town, the old town which is surrounded by medieval walls, with a castle standing at their Southern edge. Its white-washed and blue-shuttered houses give it a gorgeous look.Take a stroll in its amusing narrow streets exploring the ancient French and Portuguese architecture. The Midina of Essouira or Magador as it was called is an 18th century fortified city is recognized by the UNESCO as world heritage.

We will have lunch in a very special place, at the fish-grill cafes overlooking the sea. This is one of the Moroccan Port.After having lunch while enjoying the sea waves, we’ll visit Orson Welles’ Square; the place is a reminder of Othello, the film which was based on Shakespeare’s story of the ill-fated Moor of Venice. And in general Essouira is a reminder of history of Portegues, Spain and England.

Enjoy a free morning in Essaouira by your own then drive to Marrakech after lunch to catch your flight in Marrakch Airport.
